Banquet Policies

Payments
Full room rental is due upon signing the contract. Any additional charges will be due seven days prior to the function.

Cancellation
If the contracted event is cancelled prior to one year from scheduled date, you will receive a full refund; less then one year from scheduled event your entire deposit will be forfeited.

Guarantees
There is a capacity guarantee for specific Ballroom space. Please contact your Event Manager for specifics.

Caterers
We do offer a list of preferred caterers to choose from. Caterers not on our preferred list must be approved by Veterans Terrace.

Beverage Service
All beverages are contracted through Veteran’s Terrace. In compliance with the Wisconsin Liquor Laws, no alcoholic beverages will be served or sold to any person under the age of 21.

Service Charge
A standard 18% Service Charge will be applied to all Beverages contracted with Veterans Terrace. Sales tax of 5.5% is applied to all charge charges including service charge as is stated by Wisconsin state law.

Decorations
The use of streamers and confetti are prohibited. No staples, tacks, and nails are permitted in walls, tables and any wood area. Decoration fees are subject to anticipated man hours required.

Entertainment
All entertainment must conclude at midnight the day of the scheduled event.

Smoke Free
Veterans Terrace is a smoke free facility. Special designated smoking areas are located outside the building.

Room Availability
Your contracted banquet space will be available 12pm for decoration and set-up the day of the event. Some exceptions may apply contact your Events Manager for specifics. If an earlier time is needed, it must be pre approved by the Events Manager.

Liability Waiver
The undersigned client accepts full responsibility and liability for actions taken by all guests attending this function, including their employees. Not responsible for lost or stolen personal property.

Security Personnel
For all functions a security guard is recommended. The guard will be hired though Veterans Terrace at the expense of the client.

Damages
Patron agrees to be responsible for any damages done to the premises, during the period of time the patron, his/her guests, invitees, employees, independent contractors, or other agents are under patron's control, or the control of any independent contractor hired by the patron.
